Mostly it's just me wondering this. I used to have my "Hey, Nat" feature where readers would write in about mostly writing, journaling, parenting and relationship questions. And, um, considering my marriage fell apart a few years before the 20th mark, yes, I suppose it's kind of ironic. But, I've paid for enough therapy it feels selfish not to share a few tidbits. Talking about feelings is my favorite, mine, yours and even the stranger at Safeway's.
Plus, I find most aren't seeking expert advice, but more like, solidarity. I get a lot of texts and PM's that start with "Hey, Nat!" and sometimes I give decent advice. Basically, I'm a Wannabe Dear Abby meets Dear Sugar with a splash of Carolyn Hax.
Nothing. But since even strangers at Safeway ask me for advice in the produce section, I figured I might as well share my thoughts with reader friends.
Consistently? Since I was 10. So, for nearly 4 decades. That's, like, a lot of years.
